Partial Road Closure Vaughan Street

Vaughan Street, Shepparton will be partially be closed between Maude and Corio Streets during the Water and Power works from Monday 22nd July until end of November dependant on weather. Road access to Vaughan Street can be made from Corio Street and Ashenden streets. Access to all businesses will remain for all pedestrian traffic.

Partial Road Closure for Vaughan St Redevelopment. 

Vaughan Street, Shepparton will be partially be closed between Maude and Corio Streets during the Water and Power works from Monday 22nd July until end of November dependant on weather. Road access to Vaughan Street can be made from Corio Street and Ashenden streets. Access to all businesses will remain for all pedestrian traffic.Coles, Kmart, Finer Fruit, Cook world, Europa Deli, Bakers Delight, Luke’s Magic Meats, Cheesecake Shop and Golden Star bakery trading will remain the same and they are all open for business during this time.“There will be some short term inconvenience while the undergrounding of power and replacing the water main for the start of the redevelopment,” said Greater Shepparton City Council Director Infrastructure, Steve Bowmaker.“Traders are still open for business during the works, so business is as usual. Once the streetscape is finished, we will have an excellent new and revitalised Vaughan Street, I can’t wait to see the final product and I am sure it will be worth the wait”.Road access will be available on the southern side of Vaughan Street until 29th July; parking is still available in the Coles/Kmart car park and Corio Streets. Directional map below outlines the sections that will be closed off the traffic. Free parking will also be available in Corio Street between Rowe and Vaughan Street for the duration of the redevelopment of Vaughan Street, however time limits will still apply.
