Road conditions impacted by wet weather

Greater Shepparton City Council advises residents that following recent sustained rain events, road conditions around Greater Shepparton have been impacted.

Greater Shepparton City Council Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker said “we understand residents’ concerns about road conditions and advise Council is attending to these areas as soon as they can to repair damage to our roads.

“With the wettest July in 20 years and ongoing rain, Council staff and contractors are working hard to keep up with maintenance demand following the wet weather.

“I ask that residents drive safely and be conscious of road conditions in the meantime,” he said.

If residents have any concerns please contact Council on 5832 9700.
