Greater Shepparton City Council are encouraging sporting clubs to make alternative arrangements for sports training this week due to the conditions of playing surfaces as a result of recent rainfall.
All scheduled matches for the weekend are still permitted to go ahead, however in order to preserve the playing surfaces for weekend matches, it would be appreciated if clubs changed their training plans.
If rainfall continues, Council may need to consider closing sports grounds for training purposes.
If your club has any concerns or queries with this matter please contact Council on 5832 9700.
