Greater Shepparton City Council will be undertaking shared path remediation works from next week, to paths which were damaged during the October 2022 flood event.
Council received external funding to undertake these works to the shared path network across the region.
The remediation works will take place from Monday 4 March until late May 2024, at the following locations:
Please note, during these remediation works some delays and detours are to be expected. Pedestrian management will be in place to facilitate the safest route while works are taking place. The shared paths will reopen at the end of each day.
The resurfacing works will improve accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists as well as enhancing access to the river and native bushland.
Find out more about Greater Shepparton’s Shared Path Network.
For further information about the works, contact Council’s Projects Department on 5832 9700 or email projects@shepparton.vic.gov.au
