The major upgrade works at the intersection of Balaclava Road, Verney Road, New Dookie Road and Hawdon Street are changing from the northern side of the intersection to the southern side of the intersection from Saturday 16 November, 2019.
The upgrade is a major project for Greater Shepparton City Council with the north side of the intersection works commencing in August this year. Stage two will work towards completing the signalised intersection by May 2020.
Stage two works will include water main replacement in Balaclava and New Dookie Roads to allow for off-lane parallel parking bays replacing the nature strips; road reconstruction, installation of traffic lights on the south side, updated line marking, street lighting and landscaping.
For information and project updates call the project management team on 5832 9700 or visit the Major Projects page.
