Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise of upcoming works in Wilmot Road, Shepparton, between Community Street and Wyndham Street.
Works include the re-construction of a compliant pedestrian pram crossing, renewal of the dilapidated bus shelter and approximately 120 metres of concrete kerb and pathway works.
The works will provide for improved drainage functionality of the roadway and safer pedestrian movements in this location.
Works will commence on Wednesday 8 November 2023. The works will occur from Monday to Friday over a five week period, between the hours of 7am and 6pm, with intermittent partial lane closures.
Due to the complexities involved in these works, Wilmot Road will experience partial lane closures, minor delays and detours (varying as required) throughout the five week program.
Road users and pedestrians are asked to obey all on site signage and direction provided. Access to businesses and properties will be maintained during the works, and residents are asked to take care and be aware of traffic detours.
Council appreciates the community's understanding and cooperation during these essential maintenance works
