KidsFest will run over five days from 30 March to 3 April at KidsTown Adventure Playground. KidsFest 2020 will provide families with kids of all ages a wide range of entertainment for the first week of the school holidays.
KidsFest 2020 is designed to entice kids with different themes on each day including, sport and recreation, health, environment, culture, music and art. Carnival rides, face painting, animal, entertainment and kids workshops in line with the daily themes and heaps more will all be available at KidsFest 2020.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director Community Kaye Thomson said “We have decided to move KidsFest to March so it wasn’t competing with sporting finals and other major events occurring in September”.
“March is an ideal time, KidsFest will run for the first five days of the school holidays. This is a great low cost activity for the families to get involved in. We will have a number great value family entertainment and there is something for everyone including a spectacular fireworks display to close the event on the Friday evening”.
“This year we will have different workshops happening each day in conjunction with our themes. This is an excellent way for kids to get back to basics and get them outside” said Ms Thomson.
KidsFest 2020 is $2 gold coin entry per person. While there will be many activities free of charge, some activities may incur a cost.
