GV Last One Standing Backyard Ultra

The Backyard Ultra is a true test of endurance. Runners complete a 6.72 km loop every hour, on the hour, until they simply can’t go any further. As the numbers drop, the excitement builds. How long will this event last and who will take the crown of the Last One Standing?

This event will run continuously from 12pm on Saturday until just one runner remains.

Runners will drop out when they can’t go any further, until only one is left. This test of endurance allows runners of all experience levels to push their limits.

With no set finish line, everyone except the winner will record a DNF. But what matters is how far you can go before you stop.

Thanks to the rest period between laps, the backyard format is the perfect chance not just to beat a PB but to smash it.

This year, runners are chasing the coveted silver ticket, which guarantees them a place in the national team in 2026. The stakes are high.
