Live Music, New Album Preview & Songwriting Workshop with Joe Matera

Joe Matera, a man of many talents, is joining us to raise the roof, starting with 30 minutes of live music and finishing with a songwriting workshop. It will be a night of fun for music lovers.

Australian singer/songwriter/guitarist and instrumentalist Joe Matera has years of experience in the rock industry both on and off the stage. Joe is a respected music journalist and best-selling author of ‘Backstage Pass: The Grit and The Glamour’. He recently signed to iconic Australian record label Possum Records for the worldwide release of his new album The Lone Runner, which is due for release on March 17th.

The session being offered at the Shepparton Library is open to anyone with an interest in music, so come down and listen to Joe’s live music performance in the chill atmosphere of the library. Joe will share an evening of live music and then facilitate a workshop for those keen to learn about the process of songwriting and what makes a song work. No song writing experiences is needed to enjoy this session.

Album pre-sale orders will be taken at this event and Joe’s book Backstage Pass: The Grit and the Glamour will be available for purchase.
