SAM at Sunset

SAM at Sunset returns in 2023 with a full museum experience. Join us on the last Thursday of the month from 4pm to 8pm for drop-in artmaking workshops, artist talks, live music and a ticketed bar on level 4.

February SAM at Sunset will celebrate SAM’s current major exhibition, The 4th National Indigenous Art Triennial: Ceremony, the National Gallery of Australia’s flagship exhibition of contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art.

SAM at Sunset programming includes:

Drop-in artmaking workshops for kids and families
Curatorial and artist talks on The 4th National Indigenous Art Triennial: Ceremony
Live music
Ticketed bar on level 4 overlooking Lake Victoria
