Greater Shepparton City Council invites community members to attend the Greater Shepparton Australia Day events taking place throughout Greater Shepparton on Monday 26 January 2026.
In Summary
Events will be held in Shepparton, Mooroopna, Tatura, Dookie and Murchison, to bring community together and recognise residents who have made significant contributions throughout the year, provided exceptional service to the local area, or have positively impacted Greater Shepparton over many years.
The events will include guest speakers, entertainment, refreshments and the presentation of the 2026 Greater Shepparton Australia Day Awards. Each event will announce the award winners for their respective towns, whilst the Shepparton event will also present the overall Greater Shepparton municipality winners.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the Australia Day Awards provide a valuable opportunity for the community to come together to honour individuals who contribute positively to the region.
The following events will take place across Greater Shepparton on Monday 26 January 2026:
MURCHISON
9am - event commences.
TATURA
9.30am - event commences.
MOOROOPNA
12.30pm - BBQ/refreshments provided following conclusion of event.
DOOKIE
12.30pm - event commences.
SHEPPARTON
Afternoon tea provided following conclusion of event.
