Greater Shepparton City Council advises of upcoming works at the intersection of Andrew Fairley Avenue/Lockwood Road/Old Dookie Road and the SPC entrance in Shepparton.
As part of the works, Andrew Fairley Avenue will be closed from 7am Thursday 20 to 5pm Friday 21 April, 2023.
All traffic will need to detour using Mariem Street, unless visiting a business on Lockwood Road between Mariem Street and Old Dookie Road, all other traffic will be detoured to avoid the intersection.
Pedestrian and car park access will be maintained for employees wishing to travel to and from SPC.
The overall project will include upgrading the current roundabout to a signalised intersection that allows full truck turning movements in each direction to increase safety for all users; in particular pedestrian traffic.
Access into SPC and the adjacent homes and businesses will be maintained for the duration of works, however please expect there will be delays and detours in place and consider alternative routes.
The intersection will be under strict traffic management throughout the duration of works and Council reminds residents to obey all traffic management direction and signage.
For further information visit our project web page or phone Council on 03 5832 9700.
