Gas main relocation works continue at the Balaclava/Verney Road roundabout.
Council has been working with the gas service authority to deliver relocation of gas assets during the school holidays.
Gas main relocation works are being undertaken on the south end of the Verney/Balaclava Road roundabout and will continue in this location from Monday 8 July until Wednesday 10 July. Road closures will be in place in accordance with the attached map while this section is completed.
From Wednesday 10 July to Friday 12 July, works will be undertaken on Verney Road, near the Verney Road School. There are no road closures anticipated for this section of work, however, there will be speed restrictions in place.
Access to properties will still be maintained during the works with businesses operating as usual.
