Community-Led Emergency Leadership Training

Held over two sessions, this leadership program empowers the community and local emergency responders by promoting innovation, risk understanding, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and essential community actions.

Interactive exercises will promote community strengths-based approaches to lessen dependence on individuals, groups or agencies by leveraging local resources and skills. It aims to unify community members and prepare them for potential isolation from services and systems.

Attend both sessions for a holistic hands-on experience! Participants must be 11 years of age and above.

Note: The full program is in three parts. The final part is the “Answering the Call” Leadership Course where we aim to develop your leadership skills and attributes, decision making, and communication set in an emergency context. To get the most of this free program, please be sure to check out the follow-up workshops at the link above. 

Those under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to attend with them
