Greater Shepparton City Council’s October meeting will be held in Tatura on Tuesday 15 October.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan said this was the second time a Council meeting would be held outside Shepparton.
"As part of our community engagement program, earlier this year, we held a meeting in Mooroopna, which was very well received by the community," Cr Houlihan said
"This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in Council to come along and learn how decisions are made.
"There will also be a free bbq held at the end of the meeting to give people the opportunity to chat with councillors in an informal setting."
The meeting will be held at the Ballantyne Centre, Hastie Street, Tatura from 5.30pm and all members of the public are welcome to attend. The agenda for the meeting will be available from Council's website www.greatershepparton.com.au from Friday 11 October.
For more information contact Council on (03) 5832 9700.
