Construction to commence on Toolamba public toilet

Preliminary works have commenced on construction of a unisex toilet in Toolamba, to be located next to the Collaura Gardens in Toolamba.

The project will include the duplication of the existing shade structure and installation of a new toilet, including associated lighting, electrical, plumbing and landscaping works.

Greater Shepparton City Council’s Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker said this project was identified in the Toolamba and District Community Plan.

“The community plan group should be congratulated for their efforts in advocating for this much needed project,” Mr Bowmaker said.

Geoff Maynard from the Toolamba Community Plan group said the project had been a priority for the Toolamba community for many years.

“The community is very pleased this is project is now coming to fruition as it was identified as a high priority in our community plan.”

The current BBQ and picnic tables will not be available during the course of the works.
