Greater Shepparton City Council’s October Ordinary Council Meeting will be held in Tatura on Tuesday 20 October 2015.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Dennis Patterson said this was the second time this year a Council meeting would be held outside Shepparton.
“As part of our community engagement program, we held the May Ordinary Council Meeting in Mooroopna, which was very well received by the community,” Cr Patterson said
“This is the third time a council meeting will be held in Tatura and the past two years we have had a great response from local residents who wanted to see how council meetings run and how Council decisions are made.
“There will also be a free bbq held at the end of the meeting to give people the opportunity to chat with Councillors.
The meeting will be held at the Ballantyne Centre, 9 Hastie Street, Tatura from 5.30pm and all members of the public are welcome to attend. The agenda for the meeting will be available on Council’s website www.greatershepparton.com.au from Friday 16 October 2014.
