Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking expressions of interest from local business, sporting clubs, community groups and health services to become facilitators in the Activities in the Park program.
The Activities in the Park program was developed by Greater Shepparton City Council’s Active Living Department as part of the Get Mooving Greater Shepparton initiative.
The program provides a range of free and low cost activities for Greater Shepparton residents and visitors, encouraging people to get outdoors, be physically active and engage with their community.
The program runs throughout every corner of Greater Shepparton from September through to April.
Planning has commenced for the 2019/2020 Activities in the Park program and Council is giving Greater Shepparton businesses, sports clubs, community groups and health services the chance to join in the fun.
Council Mayor, Cr Kim O’Keeffe, encouraged locals to submit an expression of interest.
“Council’s Active Living Department is driven to encourage Greater Shepparton residents to get mooving,” Cr O’Keeffe said.
“If you love the outdoors and entertaining people of all ages, this could be a perfect role for you.”
If you are interested in facilitating an activity please complete and return the Expression of Interest form by Friday 21 June 2019.
Copies of the Expression of Interest can be found at www.getmoovingshepparton.com.au/activities-in-the-park.html
