Council to commence upgrades to public toilets in Tatura

Greater Shepparton City Council has awarded the contract to undertake works on public toilet facilities at Stuart Mock Place in Tatura.

The works on the facilities at Stuart Mock Place in Tatura will cost approximately $190,000 and involve refurbishment to modernise the current facilities including improvements to fixtures, fittings, baby change table and improved accessibility to meet current standards.

Greater Shepparton City Council Director Infrastructure Phil Hoare said the project would take approximately three months to complete.

“The revitalised public amenities in Tatura will provide modern and comfortable facilities whilst ensuring current accessibility standards are met,” Mr Hoare said.

“Council recognises there will be some inconvenience during construction, however I’m sure the community will appreciate the benefits from the revitalised building” said Mr Hoare.
