Greater Shepparton City Council recently organised a competition for residents who pay for their animal registrations before the 31st March to go into the draw to win a $100 voucher from local pet store suppliers, with five to be won.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor said she is proud to announce the winners Craig Hunt, Simon Robertson, Leslie Williams, Chris Baker and Kathryn Hilton.
They have each won a $100 voucher to use in one of the following local businesses: Hunters, Pets Domain, Pets of Parade and Petstock in Shepparton.
“It is great to see the number of animals registered within Greater Shepparton. We have more than 2800 of cats and 9900 of dogs registered in Greater Shepparton.
Cr Houlihan said residents who have not yet paid their animal registrations have until the 10th April, 2014 for the registrations to be paid, so please remember to pay your registration.”
Animal registration does go a long way to assist animal owners as the registration payments go towards the provision of dog bins, dog bags, animal shelter facilities, care for lost and found animals, staff to attend complaints, wandering and stray animals.”
For further information about Animal registration please view Council’s website www.greatershepparton.com.au or contact Council on 5832 9700.
