Albanian community leader Dinny Adem has been elected as the seventh Councillor today as a result of the count back process.
Cr Adem was born in Shepparton, and resides with Rita, on a rural property in Shepparton East. Cr Adem and his wife have two daughters. Born and raised on a farm, Cr Adem has also worked for large corporations, as well as operating family owned businesses.
Cr Adem's vision is to revitalise Greater Shepparton by attracting industry and other substantial employers to our municipality, for the benefit of all. He believes that a financially responsible, inclusive and cohesive Council will be the start of a new beginning for Greater Shepparton.
