The Draft 2020-2021 Budget for Greater Shepparton City Council is currently out for public feedback but due to the COVID-19 restrictions Council is providing public information sessions via Zoom.
The sessions will be held on Wednesday 13 May at 5.30pm and Thursday 14 May at 12.30pm, and all Greater Shepparton residents are welcome to attend.
The Zoom sessions are designed as an information presentation where people can gain a more in-depth understanding of what is in the budget and how it works.
The draft budget was released for public feedback for a period of four weeks, and submissions must be made by 5pm on 29 May 2020. Feedback can be provided online on Council’s website.
The Draft Budget process includes a hearing of submissions at a Special Council Meeting on 2 June if required with the Draft Budget going to the 16 June Ordinary Council meeting for adoption.
If you would like to participate in one of the Zoom sessions please email council@shepparton.vic.gov.au to register.
