Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking input from community members and facility users to help develop the Tatura Sports, Events and Community Precinct Masterplan.
The precinct is home to Tatura Park Events Complex, Tatura football ground, Howley Oval, tennis courts, swimming pool, bowls club, netball courts, public gardens, community facilities and the Lake Bartlett precinct.
The purpose of the masterplan is to provide a future vision and associated development opportunities for the precinct.
Council’s Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker said it was important to have a consistent approach when planning for the future of this precinct.
“Usage has grown in this precinct so we need to work with all user groups and community members to ensure issues and opportunities are considered,” Mr Bowmaker said.
“I encourage Tatura residents and precinct users to fill out our short survey to help develop this important plan.”
