To continue to support local businesses and industries, Greater Shepparton City Council and Greater Shepparton Business Centre will be hosting a series of free webinars.
Following from COVID-19 economic response package, the series of webinars is part of the 21 actions Council is implementing to support our community and businesses during the current challenges faced through COVID-19.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Seema Abdullah said the webinars were targeted to assist our local businesses.
“I encourage all our local operators to sign up to these free webinars to assist them in finding the right responses and exploring new procedures for their businesses,” Cr Abdullah said.
“It is important as a community we adjust to the current climate we face and as a Council we are committed to providing our local businesses with the resources, information and assistance needed during these challenging times.”
The webinars will be presented by small business advocate and consultant, Ailsa Page, Managing Director AP Marketing Works. A qualified marketing professional and trainer she has been developing and delivering tailored marketing strategies for a range of businesses for more than 20 years.
With experience in crisis counselling, she has worked with businesses through tough times such as fires, floods and drought.
Ms Page said in such times it was vital for businesses to make informed decisions.
“It’s important that businesses get timely, helpful information that they can be broken down into bite size chunks that can be actioned,” Ms Page said.
“Hearing from other business owners who understand can be a real comfort during these challenging times.”
There will be five webinars available to subscribe to, covering topics on Managing Cashflow, Grants Assistance, Commercial Leases, Mental Health and business Hibernation.
For more information or assistance with subscribing please phone the Greater Shepparton Business Centre on 03 5832 1100 or email gsbc@shepparton.vic.gov.au
The first webinar, Managing Cashflow will occur on Friday 24 April at 12pm. Click here to register. If you are unable to watch the live webinar, a recording will be made available at www.sheppartonbusiness.com.au
