Continuous acts of vandalism at the Greater Shepparton Sports Precinct not only add to the financial cost of the project but now endanger the lives of the community with the latest act of cutting live power at the facility.
Council have implemented a number of security methods to assist police in catching the vandals and will now look to implement further security measures including installation of CCTV.
Greater Shepparton City Council Director of Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker encourages the community to assist Council and the Police and report any suspicious activity at the facility to the Police immediately.
