Greater Shepparton City Council engaged Urban Enterprise Pty Ltd to prepare the Greater Shepparton Resource Recovery Precinct Feasibility and Site Selection Study.
The draft study was open for public consultation from 18 January and was extended to 29 February. Council received more than 115 submissions about the draft Resource Recovery Precinct Feasibility and Site selection Study.
Council will now meet with residents wishing to discuss the draft study further. All submissions received will now enable Council to re-evaluate the sites and include sites to the assessment matrix, including the Goulburn Valley Water site (Daldy Road) and any other sites suggested in submissions made by residents. The report will also Include within the appendix the issues and concerns by residents and how each of these issues will be addressed.
Once Council and Urban Enterprise Pty Ltd have re-evaluated the draft study, this will be open for public consultation for further reviews and submissions.
