HAVE YOUR SAY! Council surveying local business operators

Time is running out for local business owners and operators to be a part of the Greater Shepparton City Council Business Survey, with entries closing at 5pm Friday 8 April 2016.

The survey aims to ascertain the individual and collective needs of business to better meet the needs of the local business community.

Additionally, the information collected will help establish an up-to-date profile of the local economy; identify strengths and potential growth areas for local businesses; assist local business with solving problems and exploring new opportunities and create employment opportunities in the region.

CEO Peter Harriott is encouraging businesses to take the time to fill out the survey. “Your assistance in completing this survey will ensure that the information we receive reflects the business community as a whole,” said Mr Harriott.

“We are really keen to capture a profile of our existing business community including the issues they are facing, how they recruit new employees, whether they are involved in international trade and where they see themselves in the future.”

“We are also asking businesses to rate Greater Shepparton as a place to own a business in a number of categories. This will give us a clear indication of the best things about our region and those that need improvement,” said Mr Harriott.

If you have any questions relating to the survey or if you would prefer to have a member of staff assist you with completion please phone Council's Investment Attraction team on (03) 5832 9700.
