Help plan Greater Shepparton’s future

If you are interested in planning how Greater Shepparton will look in the future the opportunity closes soon to be on the independent community panel that will shape the vision for where we live.

Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging residents with a keen interest in making Greater Shepparton an even better place to live, work and play, to be a part of the Community Panel tasked with developing our community vision.

Each Panel member will be paid a stipend of $300 to work on coming up with an aspirational vision for Greater Shepparton.

The Community Panel will consider all of the ideas submitted via the consultation process for the first ever Community Vision for Greater Shepparton. The Community Vision will be developed by the community and for the community and will reflect the aspirations of and ideas for Greater Shepparton and provide direction for the four year Council Plan.

The Community Panel will be independently selected by an external organisation and will be representative of all people in our community, which is an important part of the Community Vision.

The panel will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 14 April, 6pm - 9pm
  • Sunday 18 April, 9am - 5pm
  • Thursday 22 April, 5.30pm - 9pm
  • Tuesdays 8 & 22 June & Thursdays 10th & 24th June, 6pm - 9pm.
