Greater Shepparton Maternal Child Health Nurses are now providing breastfeeding mums with a muslin wrap at their 2 week Maternal and Child Health appointment.
The wraps, featuring the message ‘Breastfeed anytime, anywhere’, have been designed to encourage mothers to breastfeed and to let them know support is available when needed.
Parents are encouraged to use these wraps in any way they choose when out and about to show support for breastfeeding and encourage others to do the same.
The Greater Shepparton Breastfeeding Workgroup hopes the wraps will normalise breastfeeding in the community and encourages other mums to breastfeed whenever and wherever they need to.
