Celebrating the legendary first Queens of Country Music, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn, Honky Tonk Queens is a heartfelt and high-energy tribute to the artists who shaped a generation of music.

The annual Seniors Festival Concert is a much-anticipated highlight on the local events calendar, offering residents the opportunity to connect, celebrate and enjoy high-quality live entertainment in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, said the event plays an important role in recognising the contributions of older residents while bringing the community together.
“The Seniors Festival Concert is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our senior community and recognise the important role they play in shaping Greater Shepparton,” he said.
“This year’s Honky Tonk Queens performance will take audiences on a nostalgic journey through some of the most iconic songs in country music history. It’s a show full of energy, storytelling and music that people know and love.”
Cr Sali said the accessible and affordable event ensures everyone can be part of the celebration.
“At just $5 a ticket, this is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a high-quality live performance close to home. I encourage people to get in early, bring their friends and be part of what promises to be a joyful and uplifting event,” he said.
In addition to the concert, several organisations will have information stalls set up outside the venue and will be available to engage with seniors before and after the event. These organisations will provide information about the services they offer, distribute flyers and resources, and assist residents with registrations where applicable.
This initiative provides a valuable opportunity for concert attendees to connect with local service providers, learn about the support and programs available to them, and access information that may enhance their wellbeing and community participation.
