Kialla Lakes community celebrate new BBQ and Shelter

The Kialla Lakes community along with Greater Shepparton City Council celebrated the opening of a new BBQ and Shelter in Ganaway Reserve last night, identified by the community as a priority project within the Kialla Lakes Neighbourhood Plan.

The project was funded and managed by Council, and Greater Shepparton City Council Director Community Kaye Thomson is pleased to see the project now complete and ready for the community to enjoy.

“I would like to thank the Kialla Lakes residents group for advocating for this project. The space has already been heavily utilised by the community, and will only now be further utilised as a place to gather with friends and family.

“I hope the local community enjoys their new BBQ and Shelter space especially as we come into the warm summer weather,” said Ms Thomson.
