Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to remind the community of two short term closures this week, including both Watt Road and Edward Street Carparks in order to facilitate works.
Watt Road will be temporarily closed Wednesday 17 May with works commencing at 9.30am to 3pm, scheduled to begin after the morning peak and conclude before the afternoon peak traffic, aiming to minimise disruption to road users. The works will include minor bridge repair works, repair of potholes and damaged edges and line marking renewal.
Both Edward Street carparks will be fully closed on Monday 15 May, and partially closed Tuesday and Wednesday with works only on a number of bays. The closure will facilitate works required to the entrance of the parking lots, which will occur from 7am.
Greater Shepparton City Council’s Director Infrastructure Steve Bowmaker apologises for any inconvenience to users, noting that the closures are necessary in order to facilitate the works.
