VicRoads have issued an update on the progress of the Doyles Road/ Midland Highway roundabout upgrade project. The Stage 1 works on the north side of the roundabout are nearing completion and Stage 2 works will be commencing from Monday 9 May.
The Stage 2 works will involve the south side of the roundabout being closed to traffic and some modifications to the existing detours that are in place. The Stage 2 detour map is featured at right and a pdf version is available below for download.
Turning movements at the roundabout will continue to be restricted for the next two months while the second half of the roundabout is constructed.
