Local motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid a small sinkhole hazard that has opened up in Lightfoot Street Shepparton.
Asection of road has given way to reveal a hole around 4 metres deep.
Works have been scheduled to repair the hole on Friday October 28.
Road users are reminded to obey traffic restrictions during works to ensure the safety of repair crews and themselves.
Notice to local residents
The Greater Shepparton City Council will be carrying out road maintenance works in your area.
In front of 19 Lightfoot Street Shepparton, there is a sink hole that needs to be excavated and re-compacted. This section of road will have to be closed for the works to happen.
Works will take place on Friday 28 with a possibility of it continuing on Saturday 29 October 2016.
Contractors will make contact with relevant residents regarding access to and from their residence.
