Council will commence work on the Toolamba Bridge on Monday and would like to stress to local motorists that the bridge will be unsafe to use.
The asphalt surface of the bridge is being removed and planking may also be removed making the bridge dangerous for anyone to use in any way.
Please do not attempt to cross the bridge as you will put yourselves and your passengers at risk.
At this stage Council does not have timelines for completion of the works but will keep the community informed.
Please pass on this important information to anyone you know that uses the bridge.
