Greater Shepparton City Council and headspace are looking for community support for local young people for second Indigo @ Dusk Market held at the Queens Gardens on 31 March during National Youth Week.

Last year the Indigo @ Dusk Market reached over 2,000 people from in and around Greater Shepparton and organisers are calling for stallholders from the region to support the event on 31 March.
Each year, all over Australia, events are planned and organised to celebrate and recognise the contribution of young people. In 2016 more than 23,000 young people from across Victoria participated in National Youth Week activities.
A headspace Shepparton Community Awareness officer said the Indigo @ Dusk market is a fun, creative way for young people, the general community and all different ages and cultures to get together to show support and encouragement for our young people. “This event is an opportunity to close the gap between generations, for the community to witness the amazing skills, hard work and contribution these young people make to the community.”
Greater Shepparton City Council and headspace are hoping young people and the general community will lock in the ‘Indigo @ Dusk Market’ as the place to be on 31 March, with live entertainment, food stalls and outdoor eating space, kid’s entertainment, and heaps of stalls. If F.O.M.O is real, you will definitely be missing out if you don’t attend this event!
Greater Shepparton City Council Youth Development Officer, Jessica Kirwin said “if young people make or sell arts, crafts, tie dyes, jewellery, music, clothing, plants and produce, or if they want to clean out their wardrobe, gaming cupboards and sell any unwanted items, this is the event for them. Stalls are free and anyone can have one no matter your age. What we really want to see are all people of all ages talking and building relationships.”
National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration throughout Australia for all young people aged 12–25 years.
