Nominations for the Victorian Young Achiever Awards are now open and Greater Shepparton City Council is encouraging nominations so local young achievers to be recognised!
Greater Shepparton Mayor Cr Dennis Patterson encouraged residents to nominate a local young person for a Victorian Young Achiever Award.
“We have so many young people doing a great deal to make our community a better place to live. I encourage individuals, businesses and community organisations/groups to nominate a great young role model who is making a real difference. It would be great to see our community well represented in these prestigious awards.” said Cr Patterson.
Nominations are being sought until Friday 11 December 2015 in the following categories:
The awards will culminate with a Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 6 May 2016 at Atlantic Group, Docklands.
Category winners will each receive a $1,000 Bartercard Account plus $1,000 cash and a trophy. One of the eleven category winners will be chosen as the Victorian Young Achiever of the Year and will win an additional $2,000 Jetstar flight voucher and a state trophy.
Nomination enquiry brochures are available from Council or awards sponsors. For further information email vicyaa@awardsaustralia.com phone the Awards office on 9720 1638 or visit http://www.awardsaustralia.com/young-achiever-awards.
