Greater Shepparton City Council is pleased to announce that the Our Sporting Future Grant Program is now open, with funding available to support development projects and programs which promote sports across Greater Shepparton.
In Summary
Council is inviting community sport organisations to apply for a share of the funding pool, which is available across the following four categories:
This grant program is designed to assist community sport organisations with small to medium-sized facility development projects and to foster growth in emerging sports throughout the region.
Mayor, Councillor Shane Sali, highlighted the fantastic opportunity for local clubs and organisations to improve their facilities and support the growth of emerging sports in Greater Shepparton.
“Investing in grassroots sport strengthens our communities, encourages participation, and enhances the sporting experience for players, volunteers, and spectators alike,” he said.
“I encourage all eligible clubs to apply and take advantage of this funding to help build a stronger and more inclusive sporting future for our region.”
Applications will be accepted until 5.00pm on Monday 31 March 2025. Council strongly encourages applicants to contact Council’s Sporting Clubs Officer (Program Coordinator) to discuss proposed activities and eligibility requirements before submitting an application. Organisations/groups can only receive funding in one category per round.
