Greater Shepparton City Council advises that approximately 70 Council owned playgrounds will have new soft fall mulch installed.
Works are scheduled to commence on Monday 31 May and be completed by Monday 14 June. Each playground will be closed for approximately three hours. Playgrounds include Victoria Park Lake (VPL), All Abilities Playground (behind VPL), KidsTown Playground, Ferrari Park Mooroopna and Robert McTier VC Memorial Gardens Tatura.
During the works period, Council kindly ask that residents and staff keep clear of the area whilst contractors are working. These works are a vital part of playground maintenance and helps keep the spaces safe and up to the required Australian standards.
Greater Shepparton City Council notes that the short time closures are necessary in order to facilitate the works and installation of the new soft fall mulch to ensure these facilities are safe for our community. Council appreciates your cooperation and looks forward to completing these works as efficiently as possible.
