Record rainfalls impact Council mowing program

Greater Shepparton City Council advises residents the public park mowing program has been affected by the high amount of rain the region has recently received.

With the wettest July in 20 years, Council’s mowing program has been impacted, and certain parks and grounds have been unable to be maintained.

Council understands the grass in some parks may be long and wishes to advise residents that the recent wet weather doesn’t allow for the usual mowing schedule to occur.

Mowing will commence again as soon as the areas dry out and access wont cause damage to the grounds.

If residents have any concerns please contact Council on 5832 9700.
