After a positive response from the community, Council is happy to announce that the Shepparton Resale Shop will be open 7 days a week from Monday 19 March to Easter Weekend.
For a number of years now, community members have had the opportunity to visit the Shepparton Resale Shop on weekends to grab a second-hand bargain. From bikes to books, couches to crockery and an enormous range of items in between, the Resale Shop has been integral in encouraging people to be a part of the re-use revolution.
Friday 2 March this year marked the first additional day of operation for the Resale Shop, and Council was very pleased by the number of people lining up first thing that morning ready to hunt for a pre-loved bargain.
Council hopes that this will mean more people living in Greater Shepparton will have the opportunity to re-use and re-purpose items that would otherwise end up in landfill.
This will give people that haven’t visited the Resale Shop the opportunity to do so.
Council intends to make seven days of operation a permanent feature of the Resale Shop, but this will be decided based on the response from the community between now and Easter Weekend.
Open Hours from March 19 - Easter Weekend
Monday to Saturday: 9am-3pm
Sunday: 9am-12pm
Address
125 Wanganui Road, Shepparton
