Safety changes to parking in Vaughan Central shopping precinct

Greater Shepparton City Council intends to remove four parking bays on Vaughan Street Shepparton, to improve sight safety distances for pedestrians and vehicles at the zebra crossings near Kmart and Finer Fruit.

The removal of the parking bays will consist of bollards centrally placed in the redundant parking bays along with line marking and new parking signs.

It is expected works will start from 1 June 2020 pending procurement of signage, and is expected to take 1-2 days to complete.

Enquiries should be directed to Eric Frescher of Council’s Project Department on phone (03) 5832 9700.
