Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking community input to assist with the development of a new community safety strategy.
Community members are asked to provide feedback about what they feel are the most important community safety matters in Greater Shepparton.
Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan said Council is committed to identifying and acting on local community safety priorities to ensure that Greater Shepparton’s diverse communities feel safe and proud of our region.
“Council now asks the community to consider their safety priorities and provide this information to assist with the development of the strategy,” Cr Houlihan said
“We welcome all community ideas and input to assist in the development of the new strategy. It is expected that the draft strategy will be available mid-September.”
Feedback is welcomed via the following methods:
Feedback will be received until 5.00pm Monday 28 July 2014. A Draft Community Safety Strategy then being developed based on feedback received.
