SCAM ALERT: GSCC does not email parking fines

Greater Shepparton City Council has received reports local motorists have been sent fake "Final Notice" parking fines via email.

The email was sent from revenue@finescollection.com, demanding immediate payment of $274.50 with a reference number of 011899988100.

Council assures residents that all payment notices are only distributed via postal mail, and never distributed electronically.

Anyone receiving a suspicious email demanding payment for any fine are advised not to click or reply to the email and encouraged to report the details directly to SCAM WATCH online or by calling the Scamwatch ACCC Infocentre on 1300 795 995.
