Greater Shepparton Mayor Dinny Adem said this was the first of two council meetings which would be held outside Shepparton this year.

“As part of our community engagement program we will be conducting our second off site meeting in Tatura in October,” Cr Adem said.

“This is an opportunity for anyone interested in standing for Council to gain an insight into the Council meeting process and learn how decisions are made.”

“People will also have the opportunity to enjoy a free bbq provided by the Mooroopna Lions Club and Mooroopna Men’s Shed and chat with Councillors at the end of the meeting.”

The agenda for the meeting will be available on Council’s website www.greatershepparton.com.au from the afternoon of Friday 15 April.
