SEVERE WEATHER FORECAST postposes tonight's Carols

The Carols by Candlelight Committee wish to advise the community that tonight's event has been POSTPONED due to the expected weather conditions.

This afternoon the Bureau of Meteorology issued a weather warning forecasting severe thunderstorms across Greater Shepparton with damaging winds up to 100km/hr this afternoon into this evening.

Due to some of the equipment required for tonight's event not being able to withstand above 40km/hr winds and the potential risk to staff and the community, the decision has been made to POSTPONE tonight's event to the same time TOMORROW NIGHT.

The Carols committee and Greater Shepparton City Council trusts the community understands the reasons for postponing the event and looks forward to seeing everyone in the Queens Gardens Monday night from 6:30pm to celebrate the Spirit of the Season.
