Small Equipment Grants

Greater Shepparton City Council is offering small equipment grants of up to $2000 to sporting clubs.

Grants can be used to purchase equipment including laptops and printers, first aid equipment, kitchen equipment for canteens and sports facility equipment such as for line marking or signage.

Greater Shepparton Mayor Jenny Houlihan encouraged sporting groups to apply for a grant.

"Clubs often need funding for equipment to assist with the smooth running of their club and these grants can assist with that," Cr Houlihan said.

"This grant is a one-off grant as part of the Our Sporting Future program so I encourage sporting clubs to discuss this opportunity with their committees and submit an application."

The funding is available on a $1 to $1 basis. Applications close on Friday 16 May 2014.

For more information, including application forms, visit the Grants section on Council's website.
