SNAPSHOT - International friendship comes full circle

Today Greater Shepparton hosted a delegation from one of Council’s sister cities, Oshu City.

The group of 17 included the Mayor and Chairperson of Oshu City as well as representatives from various industry bodies in Oshu.

The group visited local horticulture and dairy facilities and viewed the Cherry Blossom and Maple Tree in the Queens Gardens planted by a previous Oshu City delegation.

The Cherry Blossom and Maple Tree were planted in 2007 by then Mayor, Cr Jenny Houlihan and Mayor of Oshu City Mr Masaaki Aihara.
