Council has made the decision to close all Council managed sports grounds to training, for the remainder of this week, due to the current condition of playing surfaces after the recent rainfall.
All scheduled matches for the weekend are still permitted to go ahead, however training sessions booked on Council grounds are not permitted.
Please find alternate indoor venues for trainings, or cancel your training sessions for this week.
Council has not made this decision lightly; however this decision is in the best interest for all sports grounds and the playing surfaces. Individual sports clubs have been notified.
If your club has any concerns or queries with this matter please contact the Team Leader Parks or the Director Infrastructure on 5832 9700.
