Greater Shepparton City Council and Get Mooving Greater Shepparton are excited to announce that stand up paddle boards and pedal boat hire are now available at Victoria Park Lake.
The new outdoor activities will provide adventure, fun and exercise for participants and are a great activity, perfect for summer.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Councillor Kim O’Keeffe said the new activities at Victoria Park Lake were great additions for the community.
“They’re a fun and interactive way to get families and young children involved in water sports,” she said.
“It’s fantastic to see these new water activities coming to Shepparton. It’s the perfect activity to end the summer with and will provide cool alternatives to staying home.
“If you’re thinking about participating in these activities, we encourage you to make sun smart choices. We recommend wearing a rash vest, applying sunscreen regularly, bring a hat, drink bottle and sunglasses.”
Bookings are now open for both stand up paddle boarding and pedal boat hire. Book through the Get Mooving website.
